November is a great month to count our blessings and enjoy the beautiful weather this Fall.
We want to start off with expressing a big thank you to everyone who participated in our Fall Book and Bake sale last month. It was wonderful seeing so many supporters that made our sale a success. We also want to especially thank Beta Bread and McGrath’s for their generous donations.
Our Kids’ Time and Young Adult programming, including American Sign Language and bingo night, wrapped up at the end of October and were well attended. Please stay tuned in the near future for more programs to be announced.
At the Dalton Community Library, we will have a special cooking presentation in the middle of November on Friday at 5 p.m. This special program is part of our promotion of PA Forward Health Literacy Initiative. On Saturday, Nov. 23rd, our Saturday Spotlight book discussion group with be discussing “The Midnight Library” by Matt Haig. Our group meets from 10:30 a.m. to noon, and everyone is welcome to join.
On Tuesday mornings from 10 a.m. to noon, the DCL Bridge group meets. It doesn’t matter if you are a novice to the game or experienced, as new members are always welcome.
