Hickory Project returns to Clarks Summit First Presbyterian Concert Series

CLARKS SUMMIT — The final concert in the 2017-2018 Arts at First Presbyterian Concert Series will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, April 29 at the church, 300 School St.

By popular demand, we celebrate the return of the Hickory Project, NEPA’s top bluegrass band, which performed on the series in 2014. The band plays hard-driving traditional and original acoustic music steeped in bluegrass, Celtic, swing, and jazz.

Band members include National Mandolin Champion Anthony Hannigan, David Cavage, Steve Belcher, Jillian Hannigan, Josh Sudigala, and Ed Lick.

This event is open to the public, free of charge, but a free-will offering will be taken. The concert series receives support from the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts Program (administered by the Pocono Arts Council), a Lackawanna County Arts & Cultural Grant, and numerous individual donors.

For more information or directions, call the church at 570-586-6306 or visit www.fpccs.org.
