Students, who are members of the “My Hometown” after-school club led by Gary Rozman, visit local businesses and meet local leaders. They walked from the school towards downtown Clarks Summit while learning about safety precautions on the way. Clarks Summit Council chambers hosted a presentation in teaching them civics. Council president Gerrie Carey, borough manager Virginia Kehoe, and police officer Kevin Yetkowskas answer questions from the students. The presentation was on Monday, May 2.
