The Country Club of Scranton Women’s Golf Association donated over $2,600 to Friends of the Poor to benefit their annual Christmas toy giveaway. “This year more than 1,700 children signed up for our toy giveaway. This donation makes a world of difference for our older kids, as we do not always get as many gifts donated for their age group. We will use this to purchase gift cards, hair tools, sports equipment, and other gifts on so many of their lists,” said Meghan Loftus, President and CEO of Friends of the Poor.
