CLARKS GREEN — At March’s Clarks Green Council meeting, Councilman Dave Rinaldi discussed a document retention and support agreement from Appel Technology Solutions.
He said that Appel gave a site survey to find out what upgrades were needed. He said that the proposal – which includes a Gateway, a NAS (Network Attached Storage) system, internal hard drives, wireless networking and a replacement of wiring – added up to $5,875.99.
Council voted to accept the quote.
Council then voted to accept the payment of $572 per month for the support agreement with Appel IT systems.
In his financial report, Rinaldi announced the following balances as of Feb. 28, 2023: general fund checking, $640,331.32; capital fund account, $126,895.65; sewer fund checking account, $487,762.81; state funds account, $168,569.55.
Council voted to approve the financial report.
In other business, council voted to adopt Ordinance 1 of 2023 to update regulations of wireless communications facilities within the borough.
Council also voted to accept a quote of $4,925 from Mesko Glass to replace the damaged rear door frame of the outside entrance of the Department of Public Works garage.
In other business, council voted to submit a partial payment in the amount of $61,496.97 for reimbursement of the current invoice for a Local Share Account grant for the skid steer and submit the remaining cost when council receives the brush system.
In other business, council voted to approve Resolution 3 of 2023, reflecting change of scope of the 2022 Small Water and Sewer Grant Application.
