SOUTH ABINGTON TWP. – A memorial service will be held at Shady Lane Cemetery at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 28.
Bill Lester will serve as master of ceremonies. Retired Army Brigadier General Wilbur Wolf III will be the featured speaker. There will be music from the Wally Gordon Community Singers men’s quartet.
Boy Scout Troop 160 will provide the color guard, and the Marine Corps League will provide a gun salute and play taps.
The cemetery covers 23 acres of mountain side that is open to the public for visits, dog walks, etc.
Volunteers are always welcome.
