CLIFFORD TWP — The Mountain View Garden Club held its annual Plant Sale/Exchange & Marketplace on June 2 at the Clifford Township Community Center and it was an enormous success.
This year marked another milestone for the event, bringing in more donations than in the last few years.
Donations also came from the Second Hand Rost/Flea Market and the basket raffles. These donations will provide for the award of additional grants for local area schools to use for environmental and gardening projects.
Last year’s three educational grants funded projects that proved to be rewarding for each student. Each school will present their final project during the October 15 MVGC meeting at the Clifford Township Fire Hall.
If you wish to become a member and take advantage of all the meetings, events, and environmental information you can find the application at www.mountainviewgardenclub.org and click on the Membership Application button.
