WAVERLY TWP. — The Waverly Community House, 1115 N. Abington Road, will hold a special remembrance ceremony on Wednesday, Sept. 11.
The ceremony, in honor of those who lost their lives on 9/11, will take place at 9:30 a.m. at the flagpole on The Comm front lawn, with members of the Clarks Summit VFW leading the program. This year marks the 23rd that the Comm has been hosting this event for community members as a way for them to pay tribute to the fallen heroes and victims. Light refreshments will be served in the canteen following the ceremony.
