FLEETVILLE — It may not officially be autumn yet, but the Fleetville Fall Fair is coming soon to the Fleetville Volunteer Fire Company of Benton Township. The annual event is set for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, and the fire company invites the community to a full day of family-friendly fun celebrating small-town spirit. It also raised vital funds for local fire and rescue services.

“This popular, late-summer tradition transforms the station grounds into a lively community hub with great food, live music, petting zoo, face painting and pumpkin painting, mini scarecrow factory, massive basket raffle, over 150 vendors and activities for all ages,” said Michelle Larsh Ross, coordinator.

There will be many food and beverage vendors at the fall fair. Fon Dippity Food Truck will provide mac & cheese, tacos, and fries with different toppings. Lupo Rosso Woodfired Pizza will serve its woodfired pizza along with freshly-filled cannolis, and homemade chocolate chip cookies. Smoked & Sauced, an authentic Texas BBQ in northeast PA, will serve brisket, pork, chicken, smoked mac & cheese, tater tot casserole, and brisket & bean smoked burgers.

Runaway Trail Brewery will bring a selection of four beers including their Festbier, Wet your Whistle Blonde Ale, a Double IPA called The Trax, and probably Railside, which is a light, easy-to-drink lager. Main Street Moonshine will provide 750-ml jars of moonshine, drinks to-go, shot glasses, and pour shots.

There will also be a chicken BBQ prepared by the Fleetville Fire Company. Tickets for the BBQ can be purchased online. Baked good donations are appreciated. Homemade baked goods are warmly welcomed for the fire company’s bake sale. Family recipes are also encouraged.

There will be vendors selling handmade items. Vivid Color Jewelry Creations will offer handmade jewelry, including necklaces, earrings, bracelets with a clasp, and wrap bracelets on memory wire. They use mostly gemstones and only natural spacers with their gemstones such as wood, metal, and crystals. Critters N Crafts will have hand-sewn bears, cats, moose, and Santas as well as aprons and matching potholders. Clearly Bigfoot will have a one-of-a-kind, individually-sculpted Bigfoot head ornament. They will also offer paper mache sculptures.

Local organizations will participate in the fair as well. Benton Township Lions Club will serve hot dogs, burgers, chips and drinks. Cub Scout Pack 175 will sell Trails End Popcorn to support their group.

Live musical entertainment will be provided by: Mega Band, 10 to 10:45 a.m.; John Bower, 11 to 12:15 p.m.; Ashley Macharelli, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.; Lipstick & Rye, 2 to 2:45 p.m.; Mace in Dixon, 3 to 6 p.m.

There will also be raffle baskets and 50/50 to support the fire company. Volunteers are encouraged to help set up and clean up. Shifts are available throughout the event.

The Fleetville Fall Fair is open to all families, neighbors, and visitors from near and far. Proceeds will benefit the fire company.

“Events like the Fall Fair are more than just a great day out,” said Ross. “They keep the community strong and first responders ready. Funds raised help maintain life-saving equipment, support firefighter education, and bolster preparedness for everything from structure fires to weather emergencies.”
