If you are like the members of the Mountain View Garden Club (MVGC), thoughts of warmer days, spring blossoms, and bountiful vegetables may already be on your mind.

Many gardeners have begun ordering seeds or are planning what to plant and where to place their new purchases. Whether you are an experienced gardener or just starting out, the 2026 garden club meetings offer an opportunity to share your knowledge or learn more about environmental topics, innovative gardening techniques, pest management, and effective problem-solving.

Events and programs

The MVGC serves as an engaging forum for gardeners to connect, discuss, and grow together. The Program Committee is actively preparing an array of events for this year, and once finalized, the program details will be available on the club’s official website. The final program will be published on the website in March.

One event you can mark on your calendar is the annual Plant Sale and Exchange/Marketplace, which is scheduled for Sunday, June 7.
