Winners of the 34th annual “Hook” O’Malley 1-Mile Race Run/Walk Against Cancer have been announced.
This event is held in memory of the late boxing trainer Paul “Hook” O’Malley, who trained amateur and professional boxers, and cared deeply for the youth in the community. This year’s race was also in memory of Jim Moran, a Clarks Green resident who was a member of the Hook Race Committee for more than 33 years. The inaugural Jim Moran Award was presented to the top male and female.
Overall, the winners were Shamus Wallace with a time of 4:37 and Bianca Perez with a time of 5:56.
