SCRANTON — The Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple announced its Buy Local Holiday Marketplace will return for its fourth year from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 29.

Applications from both new and returning vendors are currently being accepted. Vendors are subject to a fee of $125, which includes a $100 payment as well as $25 in product, which the Cultural Center utilizes for raffles the day of the event. Interested parties should visit sccmt.org/buy-local/ to download an application and review a complete list of vendor guidelines and policies. Questions should be directed to Maria Santomauro at marias@sccmt.org.

When the event began in 2012, it featured approximately 50 vendors on the first and second floors of the building. Last year, the venue featured nearly 120 vendors on five floors of the building, including the center’s newly-renovated lower level, which houses its Creative and Performing Arts Academy.

This year’s vendor selections will include gourmet food and wine, jewelry, apparel, home goods, handcrafted items and more. A complete list of vendors will be posted in the weeks prior to the event. Once again, the event will span five floors of the historic building.

The Fourth Annual Buy Local Holiday Marketplace is sponsored in part by First National Community Bank.

Admission is a $1 donation and proceeds will benefit the ongoing operations, restoration and programming at the Scranton Cultural Center. The first 250 patrons of the event will receive a free reusable shopping bag. Food and drink will be available for purchase.
