A U.S. News & World Report study ranked Abington Heights High School 33rd out of 686 high schools in Pennsylvania.

The results were determined using a four step process. The first three steps ensured that the schools serve all of their students well, using their performance on the math and reading parts of their state proficiency tests and their graduation rates as benchmarks. For schools that made it past the first three steps, a fourth step assessed the degree to which they prepare students for college-level work.

“Abington Heights is pleased to have this recognition by US News for Abington Heights High School,” Superintendent of Schools Michael Mahon said. “The success is a direct result of the hard work of our students, the support of our families and community, the devotion of our staff and the leadership of the Abington Heights School Board.
