SCRANTON — Keystone Community Resources (KCR) recently held a Celebration of Choice Award dinner at the Radisson.

KCR honored State Representative Aaron Kaufer with the Advocate of the Year Award, in appreciation of his support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism. Also honored were KCR Vocational Program Participants with over 20 years of service and KCR Employees celebrating over 25 years of service to individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism.

KCR also honored eight local businesses for their partnership and commitment to KCR Employment Programs. These businesses support KCR’s mission by providing KCR Consumers with developmental disabilities diverse opportunities to work in vocational programs and in the local community, allowing them to lead fulfilling lives.

Businesses honored were Neiman Marcus, Gertrude Hawk Chocolate, St Luke’s Episcopal Church, Inert Products, Dino and Francesco’s, Arlington Industries, James A. Dougherty Co. and Pizza Hut.
