SCOTT TWP. — Applications are being accepted for enrollment into the Lakeland Little Tykes Mentoring Program, hosted by the junior and senior students currently taking the Early Childhood Development Class.
The program will be held from 8:45 to 11:15 a.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and it follows the high school schedule for all early dismissals, days off and snow or emergency closings.
Spaces are limited to a maximum of 20 students. To reserve a child’s spot, call 570-254-9485, extension 2144 and leave a message with your name and phone number or email gallan@lakelandsd.org. Phone calls will be returned between 1:15 and 2:30 p.m.
Qualifications are as follows.
• Children must be between the ages of 2 and 5.
• Children must reside in the Lakeland School District community.
• Children must be potty trained.
• A copy of the child’s up to date immunizations must be provided.
