Diane Brown, VAC representative recently presented an Apprise Program for those new to Medicare at The Gathering Place. APPRISE counselors will be at The Gathering Place to assist beneficiaries who would like to do a Part D comparison or Medicare Advantage plan comparison on Wednesday, Nov. 8. Beginning at 10:30 a.m., there will be a quick presentation on “How to Navigate the Medicare Website.” Following the presentation, individual appointments with APPRISE counselors will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. To schedule an appointment, call the Voluntary Action Center at 570-347-5616.
