National officers and local chapter members of UNICO met former Lackawanna County Commissioner Robert Pettinato at Scranton UNICO’s annual open membership event held recently at Arcaro & Genell’s in Old Forge. Pettinato presented a copy of his book, “At Our Own Pace,” reflecting on his life with his beloved late wife Peggy, his career and Lackawanna politics. Proceeds from the book’s sale go toward Peggy’s Pathway for Women’s Cancer Care to support patients of the deadly disease that claimed the life of Pettinato’s wife in 2015. From left, are Pettinato, Frank Blasi, UNICO National Counsel; Dr. Frank DeFrank, UNICO National first vice president; Sam Prudente, UNICO National’s treasurer; Dom Ortolani, Wilkes Barre UNICO; Jim Brogna, Scranton chapter director; and Jack Trapani, Scranton Chapter president.
