CLARKS SUMMIT — Every dollar in sales on Veterans Day, Saturday, Nov. 11, at Eagle Cleaners will go directly to Equines for Freedom (EFF), a nonprofit organization treating active and former military personnel experiencing symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). “Serving Our Veterans: A Day of Empowerment and Gratitude” is part of Eagle Cleaners’ ongoing commitment to serve the community, and this time it’s particularly personal to owners Buddy and Kathy Croft.
The Croft family’s military history is major reason Eagle supports the United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots program each year. It is also a huge motivation to add Equines for Freedom to its long list of charitable causes.
“We do everything we can to support our veterans and our men and women in uniform,” Buddy Croft, a former Navy Corpsman, said in a press release. “We’re a military family. Our son, Michael, is a Gunnery Sergeant in the Marine Corps. We see the extraordinary commitment of our service men and women every day, and we want to help them in any way we can.”
