SCRANTON — Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeastern Pennsylvania announced that Fred P. Rinaldi, of Old Forge, has been selected to serve as its new president, effective Oct. 1.
Rinaldi has served the organization and community for many years, providing pro-bono legal support and guidance. He is succeeding the first president of the chapter, Albert Mueller, of Clarks Summit.
Mueller established Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeastern Pennsylvania on Sept. 5, 1996. With his wife, Carol-Ann, Mueller co-founded the Ronald McDonald House of Scranton to provide a “home away from home” for sick children and their families.
