Buddy and Kathy Croft, of Eagle Cleaners, Clarks Summit offered Equines For Freedom (EFF) the profits from all their dry cleaning business on Veterans Day, Nov. 11. They donated $3,000 to provide equine-assisted trauma therapy for veterans. Equines For Freedom provides a form of therapy for veterans dealing with post-traumatic stress. EFF addresses the need for an alternative to office-based therapy by inviting veterans to work with horses in an arena or pasture while also receiving Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
