Buddy and Kathy Croft, of Eagle Cleaners, Clarks Summit offered Equines For Freedom (EFF) the profits from all their dry cleaning business on Veterans Day, Nov. 11. They donated $3,000 to provide equine-assisted trauma therapy for veterans. Equines For Freedom provides a form of therapy for veterans dealing with post-traumatic stress. EFF addresses the need for an alternative to office-based therapy by inviting veterans to work with horses in an arena or pasture while also receiving Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. From left, are EFF volunteer Bob Tagert, EFF Secretary Sylvia Tagert, Buddy Croft of Eagle Cleaners, and EFF President Barbara Cocolin.
