PSU Worthington Scranton alumni donate to campus hardship fund

The Penn State Worthington Scranton Alumni Society presented a $5,000 check to the campus for its Student Hardship Fund. The Student Hardship Fund, also known as an Emergency Assistance Fund, was established three years ago to help students who find themselves in dire financial need due to an unexpected life circumstance that negatively impacts their ability to meet their financial obligations. From left, are Amanda Brennan, Lisa Torch, Kathy Pliska, PSWS Director of Development Chris Ostroski, PSWS board member Rick Pambianco, PSWS Alumni Society President Kathy Zielinski, Beth Yuschovitz, PSWS Alumni Society Vice-President Carmen Caputo, Dave Kaminski, Heather Taber, Dave Lucas, Michele Jones; Past President Kathy Casarin and PSWS Alumni Society Secretary Dawn Bauman. To date, the PSWS Alumni Society has given over $17,000 to the Student Hardship Fund and nearly $300,000 to Penn State Worthington Scranton.
