SCRANTON — Area dentists will be on hand from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3 at The Viewmont Mall to provide complimentary dental screenings for area children, announced Scranton District Dental Society (SDDS) National Children’s Dental Health Month (NCDHM) Chairs Doctors Megan Azar and Mary Grace Rizzo-Fryzel.

Part of February’s celebration of NCDHM, the event provides children with the opportunity to have a fun, positive dental experience while enjoying a day filled with free face painting, giveaways, coloring stations, and a visit with the Tooth Fairy.

Registration is required and is free. To register, call the library at 348-3000, ext. 3015.

More free events will be held at three area McDonald’s restaurants. The first is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8 at 900 S.
