Abington-area students from The University of Scranton study abroad

SCRANTON — The following Abington-area residents were among The University of Scranton who recently studied abroad.

Sebastian Barry, of Clarks Summit, a electrical engineering major, participated in the university travel course Christianity in the Middle East in Jerusalem, Israel during the Intersession 2018 semester.

Liam Dougherty, of Dalton, a strategic communication major, participated in the Council on International Education Exchange Business and Culture in Barcelona, Spain during the Intersession 2018 semester.

Zoe Haggerty, of South Abington Township, a biochemistry, cell, molecular biology major, participated in the university travel course The Loyola Experience: An Ignatian Pilgrimage in Spain and Rome during the Fall 2017 semester.

Lydia Lovecchio, of South Abington Township, a counseling and human services major, participated in the university travel course The Loyola Experience: An Ignatian Pilgrimage in Spain and Rome during the Fall 2017 semester.

Sridhar Sampath-Kumar, of South Abington Township, a business administration – general major, participated in the university travel course, Global Health Management in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil during the Intersession 2018 semester.
