The Friends of the Abington Community Library’s Spring Book Sale, to be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 8 at the Clarks Summit United Methodist Church, 1310 Morgan Highway, Clarks Summit, will showcase about 10,000”‘like new” and used books of all types for all ages and include DVDs, CDs, and talking books – nothing over $2. Friends members in good standing only are invited to attend a preview sale from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 7. Memberships will be available that night for $10 per individual or $15 per family. The Saturday sale is open to the public, with free admission. All proceeds benefit the Abington Community Library. Donations will be accepted beginning Sunday, April 8 for the fall sale.
