Dietrich Theater’s first Open Mic of 2018 features Bethlehem band Paint House

TUNKHANNOCK — The Dietrich Theater will kick off its first Open Mic Night of the year by featuring a group of young local musicians. Paint House is an alternative, pop rock band from Bethlehem, with roots in Scranton and Philadelphia.

Open to audiences and performers of all ages, Open Mic Night will take place at 7 p.m. Friday, March 23 in the theater’s Peg Fassett Performance Studio.

The evening is open to local artists, storytellers, comedians, poets, and musicians looking for a way to share their talents with an appreciative and supportive audience. Sign-ups are at 6:30 p.m.

Next month’s Open Mic Night will take place on Friday, April 20 (the third Friday of the month instead of the usual fourth Friday), with the Breaking Ground Poets headlining.
