Marywood University to host Tutti Ensemble Concert April 15

SCRANTON — Marywood University’s music, theatre and dance department will hold its Tutti Ensemble Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 15 in the Sette LaVerghetta Center for Performing Arts. The concert is free and open to the public.

The Tutti Ensemble is an adaptive program encouraging the use of music for individuals with unique learning styles. The student-led program is the result of a collaboration between music education and music therapy majors and gives those with special needs an opportunity to perform on stage with the Marywood University bands.

Instruments for the Tutti program are donated by corporate sponsor Robert M. Sides and the program is under the faculty supervision of F. David Romines, music, theatre and dance department co-chair and associate professor of music education.
