Geisinger Commonwealth to host professional school and career fair April 9

SCRANTON – The Office of Career Engagement at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine (GCSOM) will host a professional school and career fair for its master of biomedical sciences (MBS) students from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 9 in the lobby and auditorium of GCSOM’s Medical Sciences building at 525 Pine St..

Students from both GCSOM School of Graduate Studies’ campuses — Doylestown and Scranton — will attend the fair. Established in 2017, the event is an extension of the School of Graduate Studies’ Professional Development course, which addresses student professional identity formation and growth. The fair provides an opportunity for regional professional schools (those granting MD, DO and other advanced degrees) and employers seeking candidates with outstanding academic credentials to network with MBS students.
