Abington Heights High School NOCTI students learned about fireplaces and how to construct them. NOCTI students are advanced in the masonry trade and can get certified in the masonry field after two years of the class and bypassing a series of state tests. This year’s class constructed a fireplace out of cultured stone and brick. The students in the NOCTI class, taught by Frank Summa, are Robert Berkman, Tyler James, Austin Kohut, TJ Lacey, Tyler Lesjack, Daniel Muller and Austin Savaro. From left, first row, Summa. Second row, Lacey, Muller and Lesjack.
