Commissioners designate parking spots for Purple Heart recipients at parks

The Lackawanna County Commissioners, military officials and community volunteers unveiled a special sign at McDade Park for parking for veterans who have received a Purple Heart. The special signage will also be installed at the county’s three other park venues: Merli-Sarnoski, Covington and Aylesworth.
