Abington Heights High School Class of 1968 plans 50th anniversary reunion weekend

The 50th anniversary reunion of the Abington Heights Class of 1968 is scheduled for July 20-22.

The class was the first to graduate from the Abington Heights Senior High School building.

The class is taking a full weekend to celebrate its 50th anniversary. The reunion committee, which consists of Keith Armbrust, Jane Bendowski Lehman, Russ Collins, Susan Comerford Wzorek, Charles Mercer, Ron Moskalczak, Paula Kiley Placko, Beth Perry, Philip Sweet, David Trishman and Christine Yanish Levin, started working on notifying classmate two years ago. Classmates will be coming from California, Idaho, Colorado, Canada, Florida and many from the New England states.

The reunion weekend will consist of a Friday night party at the State Street Grill. On Saturday, there will be a closed tour of the senior high school building and a banquet at the Ramada in Clarks Summit on Saturday. Classmates will meet for breakfast at the State Street Grill or Silver Spoon diner on Sunday.
