SCRANTON — Seniors in Northeastern Pennsylvania can learn more about services available to them, thanks to a donation from the Scranton Area Community Foundation. Telespond Senior Services in Scranton received a $5,000 grant from the foundation to fund a communications and marketing campaign aimed at educating potential clients about the services Telespond offers.
As the needs of older adults and their primary caregivers change, Telespond is developing new services and refining those already in place. This campaign is an outreach effort to inform those experiencing these changes about solutions available to them.
Telespond provides life-enriching services to older adults and their families on both a community-wide and individual bases with their adult day services, in-home personal care, and senior companion programs. All Telespond’s services assist the elderly to age in place, reduce isolation, and preemptively identify health care risks resulting in a healthier future.
