SWOYERSVILLE — The Music Box Dinner Playhouse will present the classic musical production, “Hello, Dolly!” beginning Saturday, Nov. 24.

Directed and choreographed by Michael Marone and musically directed by Hollie Major Baker, show boasts a cast of nearly 40 local performers, including Michael Gallagher as Horace Vandergelder and Amanda Reese as Dolly Gallagher Levi.

Based on the play, “The Matchmaker,” by Thornton Wilder, the story follows Dolly Gallagher Levi as she travels to New York to find a match for the stingy Horace Vandergelder.

Hello, Dolly opens at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24 and continues Nov. 25, 29 and 30, as well as Dec. 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 13, 14, 15 and 16. For all shows, audience members have the option of purchasing a dinner and show ticket or a “show only” ticket. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the meal begins at 6:30 p.m.; for matinees, doors open at 1 p.m., with the meal beginning at 1:30 p.m. Dinner tickets must be purchased in advance.

Show only tickets for “Hello, Dolly!” are $18. Buffet dinner and show tickets are $35. Both can be purchased by calling the Music Box box office at 570-283-2195.
