SCRANTON — The Parents Loving Children Foundation will hold the annual Walk for Autism on Saturday, April 28 at Nay Aug Park.

Complete with activities, games, and a post-walk picnic, this event has something for everyone. All children under 18 can attend for free. There is a $20 registration fee to walk or run. Run starts at 8:30 a.m. with early registration at 7:30 a.m. Walk begins at 11 a.m. with early registration at 9:30 a.m. Runners can earn medals and have times posted. All participants will receive a t-shirt.

For those who choose not to walk or run, a basket raffle with over 100 baskets to claim, merchandise table, bake sale and 50/50 raffle are some fun activities for adults along with enjoying a hot dog or a slice of Mama Mi pizza. Children will have face-painting, moon-bounces, photos with Poppy from Trolls and games with trained staff. Parents can meet with service providers for information about essential autism programs.
