TUNKHANNOCK — State Police are asking are for the public’s help finding a missing Vermont man.

Nathan Gerry, 21, was last seen by a family member in Vermont yesterday evening, according to Pennsylvania State Police – Tunkhannock.

Gerry was reported missing early Saturday morning to the Rutland (Vermont) Police Department. His green 2001 Chevrolet Malibu was reported abandoned around 5 p.m. Saturday in Lovelton, Wyoming County, about 15 miles west of Tunkhannock.

According to the police report, Gerry has made suicidal statements in the past and has recently expressed disappointment with his schooling.

Gerry is a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, according to a police statement. He was brown hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call state police in Tunkhannock at 570-836-2141.
