CLARKS SUMMIT — In conjuction with the Rotary Club’s Memorial Day Parade in downtown, members of Clarks Summit Borough Council, along with Annie’s Country Kitchen, will hold a basket raffle to raise funds for the improvement and maintenance of the Veterans Memorial Park on North State Street.

Available baskets, donated by local businesses and families, will be displayed in Loughney Hall at the Clarks Summit Borough Building in advance of the parade as well as posted on the Clarks Summit Borough Facebook page. The baskets will be displayed at 10 a.m. on parade day in front of the borough building, 304 S State St. and tickets will be sold during the parade. Cost is $1 for 10 tickets or $5 for 60 tickets.

The drawing will be held at 2 p.m. in Loughney Hall and winners need not be present.

All members of the ABPA are asked to consider donating a basket. Pictures of each donated basket will be posted on the group’s Facebook page to promote the business making the donation. Empty coffee cans are needed to collect tickets.

Donations may be sent to the Clarks Summit Borough office. Arrangement for pickup may be made by calling 570-585-4800.
