SCRANTON — Applications are now being accepted for the Leadership Lackawanna Core Program Class of 2018-2019, the program’s 36th year.
Leadership Lackawanna fosters the development of community leaders by providing participants with leadership, interpersonal and managerial skills, as well as an enhanced understanding of the issues and topics relevant to the greater Scranton region through monthly sessions. In addition to these sessions, class members participate in group projects to enhance their leadership skills and foster teamwork. Since inception, Leadership Lackawanna has graduated more than 2,000 community leaders and completed over 150 projects.
The program is open to candidates who either live or work in Lackawanna County. Partial scholarships are available on a limited basis to qualified candidates.
