Four named to RIT dean’s list

ROCHESTER, NY — Four Abington-area students have been named to the dean’s list at Rochester Institute of Technology for the spring 2018 semester. They are:

Brooke Seamans, of Factoryville, biomedical sciences program; Colton Brown, of Tunkhannock, computing security program; Spenser Lionetti, of Clarks Summit, mechanical engineering technology program; Sara Cobb, of Dalton, packaging science program.

Silverman graduates from Madison

HARRISONBURG, VA — Steven Lewis Silverman, of Waverly, graduated with a degree in Finance from James Madison University during the May 4 commencement exercises.

Horvath graduates from Loyola Maryland

BALTIMORE, MD — Daniel Horvath, of Clarks Summit, received a BBA degree in Accounting, Business Administration at Loyola University Maryland’s 166th Commencement Exercises.

Pair graduates from Ithaca

ITHACA, NY — Casey Wrobel, of Clarks Summit, graduated with a BS in Clinical Health Studies and Ryan Kresge, of Clarks Summit, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Environmental Studies from Ithaca College.

Sheffler makes dean’s list

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — Ryan Sheffler of Waverly, a Computer Science major, was named to the dean’s list at Marist College for the spring semester.

Four named to Lehigh dean’s list

BETHLEHEM — Four Clarks Summit residents were named to the dean’s list at Lehigh University for the spring 2018 semester. They are Jennifer Burke, Andrew Gibson, Riley Hesser and Mikayla Spott.

McCoy named to dean’s list

READING — Malorie McCoy, of Clarks Summit, has been named to Alvernia University’s dean’s list for the spring 2018 semester as a senior. McCoy studied Psychology at Alvernia and is a graduate of Abington Heights High School.

Lovecchio earns degree

Matthew F. Lovecchio, son of Toby and Cathy Lovecchio, of South Abington Township, was among more than 900 students from Providence College who received undergraduate degrees during the college’s 100th Commencement Exercises May 20. Lovecchio, a Public & Community Service Studies major in The Feinstein Institute for Public Service, graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor of Arts degree.
