TUNKHANNOCK — Singer-songwriter Dave Brown will be the headliner at this month’s Open Mic Night at 7 p.m. Friday, July 27 in the Dietrich Theater’s Peg Fassett Performance Studio, Main Street. Brown is a member of a folk/bluegrass band as the vocalist, guitarist, harmonica, and songwriter.

Rooted in Northeast Pennsylvania, Brown leads a group of string musicians, known as The Dishonest Fiddlers. Folk and bluegrass are influences that have helped to create and inspire a unique, homegrown sound while providing a solid musical foundation.

The Dietrich Theater is pleased to feature local artists, storytellers, comedians, poets, and musicians looking for a way to share their talents with an appreciative and supportive audience. Sign-ups are at 6:30 p.m. the night of the Open Mic. Next month’s Open Mic Night will take place on Friday, Aug. 24 featuring Corky Staats.

For information, call the Dietrich at 570-996-1500.
