LA PLUME – Keystone College will celebrate Constitution Day by hosting national political reporter and author Salena Zito at 7:15 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17 in Evans Hall in Hibbard Campus Center. The event, part of Keystone’s Community Forum series, is free and open to the public.

Zito is a national political reporter for the Washington Examiner and the New York Post and a CNN contributor. She is author of the book, “The Great Revolt: Inside the Populist Coalition Reshaping American Politics” which discusses Donald Trump’s election as president and whether it represents a fundamental shift in the electorate which will affect both the Republican and Democratic parties for years to come. She is a regular guest on the CBS News show “Face the Nation.” This will be her second appearance at Keystone’s Constitution Day celebration.

Zito’s visit will feature her opening remarks followed a question-and-answer session with the audience and then a book signing at approximately 8:15 p.m.

In her book, co-authored with political consultant Brad Todd, Zito reports on interviews with voters in five swing states following the 2016 presidential election and discusses how those people feel about Donald Trump and the important issues affecting their lives.

Constitution Day, which takes place across the nation on Sept. 17, celebrates the signing of the United States Constitution and what it means to American democracy.
