Carbondale Historical Society presents musical program featuring Judy Jaymes

CARBONDALE — The Carbondale Historical Society is pleased to present “Songs of our Life: Music to Remember,” featuring Carbondale’s own Judy Jaymes with Frank Santoro on keyboard and Gary Brown on Sax. The program will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6 at Hotel Anthracite, 25 S. Main St.

The evening, a benefit for the Carbondale Historical Society, will be a musical journey through time, featuring contemporary show tunes, old standards, a little comedy and a few surprises.

“A Great Night,” “Beautiful,” “Well Worth My Time,” “That’s Entertainment” and “Yeah Carbondale” are just a few enthusiastic words of praise offered last year at Jaymes’ sold-out concert.

Tickets are available at the Carbondale Historical Society at 570-282-0385, the Greater Carbondale Chamber of Commerce, 570-282-1690 or at Carbondale City Building 570-282-4633. Tickets are $25 per person and include a two-hour show, dessert and aperitif. A cash bar will be available.
