SOUTH ABINGTON TWP. — At the Dec. 10 supervisors meeting, supervisor David O’Neill talked about a subdivision at Seminary Hill on the property of Clarks Summit University, reporting that land developer Mike Noto seeks approval to sell lots.

“He (Noto) did his paving on Monday (Dec. 3)”, said O’Neill.

O’Neill mentioned that he, Solicitor Bill Jones, and the township engineer will meet with Noto and his engineer to review paperwork, boarding requirements and the developer’s agreement.

“We should have that up for a special meeting on Dec. 27 at noon,” O’Neill said, explaining the reason for the special meeting is to approve the 2019 budget.

In other business …

• O’Neill announced that he and Jones went over the paperwork for the Preserve at Gravel Pond and reported all of the roadwork is complete.

“We have the form of a deed,” said Jones. “Our engineers are going to take a look to make sure it closes.”

Jones confirmed he will send the deed to Attorney Pat Lavelle who will give out the title deed so it can be approved.

• Rick Flory, owner of The Preserve at Gravel Pond, asked supervisors if the residents of The Preserve can get services such as snowplowing. O’Neill replied by suggesting a conditional approval. Jones then said it’s possible since the developer’s agreement has terms. The supervisors will discuss the matter at the Dec. 27 meeting.
