LA PLUME — It’s becoming a St. Patrick’s Day tradition: the music of The Quietmen, a traditional and contemporary Irish music group, in a free concert at Keystone College.

The Quietmen originated in Scranton, grew up in Dalton, and now play everywhere from the Poconos to the New Jersey shore, Northern Virginia, and beyond.

The band plays everything from Irish sing-alongs and ballads, old-time folk and acoustic hits from the ’50s through today.

The Quietmen are making their seventh appearance at Keystone College to kick off your celebration of St. Patrick’s Day on Thursday, March 7, at 7 p.m. in the Theatre at Brooks on the Keystone campus.

The concert is part of Keystone College’s year-long celebration of its 150th anniversary.

The Quietmen will also be playing at:

• The Anthracite Heritage Museum at McDade Park in Scranton on Friday, March 8 at 6 p.m.

• The AOH Div. 6 Post-parade Part in Scranton on Saturday, March 9 from 4 tto 8 p.m.
