WAVERLY — The Waverly Community House, 115 N. Abington Road, announces tickets are now on sale for the Annual Breakfast with the Bunny and Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 13 at 10 a.m. This year’s “Peter Rabbit” themed event features a pancake breakfast, a visit with the Easter Bunny, games, crafts and the ever popular Easter Egg Hunt (bring a basket).
Youngsters will be divided into groups according to age and will search The Comm for treat-filled Easter eggs so that everyone gets a fair share of the goodies.
This year’s Breakfast with the Bunny is sponsored by Constantino’s Catering & Events, Karam Orthodontics and Waverly Preschool.
The Comm will collect cereal, peanut butter and jelly and other non-perishable food items for the United Neighborhood Centers at this event.
There will first be crafts, and breakfast in the gym. A visit by the Easter Bunny will be a highlight of the morning. The cost is $15 per person. Children under the age of 1 are admitted free. Tickets must be purchased in advance at the Comm office (open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays).
