SCRANTON — United Neighborhood Centers of Northeastern Pennsylvania’s (UNC) South Side Farmers’ Market will celebrate 10 years outdoors on May 18.

The market will move to the corner of Cedar Avenue and Alder Street on May 18. The intersection of Cedar and Alder will be home to South Side Farmers’ Market for the remainder of the outdoor market season every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. until Saturday, Oct. 5.

“We are excited to celebrate 10 years serving the community,” said Megan Maslousky, South Side Farmers’ Market manager. “This season will be home to a variety of products, services, and events that will expand the market and engage the South Scranton neighborhood and beyond.”

Shoppers can anticipate a robust market for this season filled with new vendors, special events, cooking demonstrations by CEO Weinberg, and much more.

South Side Farmers Market is pleased to welcome new and returning vendors: Beta Bread Bakery, Buck Oh Sauce, Canned Classics, Fullers Overlook Farm, Good Fields of Honey, Leave Me A Scone, Modern Natural Living, No Bull Ranch, Osborne Specialties, Purple Pepper Farm, Quails R Us, Ten Mile Mushrooms, Tortilleria El Buen Amigo, and more to come as the season progresses.
