WILKES-BARRE — Wilkes University welcomes more than 500 students into the university’s newest class. Among them are several Abington-area students, including:

Ariana Acevedo, of Scott Township, is entering as a Pre-pharmacy GS major.

Jakob Fusik, of Dalton, is entering as a Nursing major.

Donald Cole, of Tunkhannock, is entering as a Digital Design & Media Art major.

Erica O’Hara, of Tunkhannock, is entering as an Undeclared Science major.

Rebecca Gawrys, of Clarks Green, is entering as a Psychology major.

Keith Joshua Ella, of Factoryville, is entering as an Undeclared major.

Nathan Van Fleet, of Clarks Summit, is entering as a Mechanical Engineering major.

Logan Hegedty, of Tunkhannock, is entering as a Criminology major.

Jack Wasko, of Clarks Summit, is entering as a Hospitality Leadership major.

Alexa Boersma, of Clarks Summit, is entering as an Earth & Environmental Science major.
