CLARKS SUMMIT — Everything Natural’s Special Events Coordinator Barbara Cohen explained how store owner Neil Persad feels like part of the mission of his store is to educate the community – the reason why he is bringing Cass Ingram, D.O., to the area on Sunday, Oct. 13 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. for a free in-store lecture.

“Dr. Ingram is one of North America’s leading experts on health benefits and disease fighting properties of wild medicinal spice extracts,” said Cohen. “He is a popular media personality who has appeared on over 5,000 radio and TV shows.”

Dr. Ingram is a nutritional physician who received a B.S. in biology and chemistry from the University of Northern Iowa, and a D.O. from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. He has written over 25 books on natural healing and has given answers and hope to millions through his lectures. His research and writing have led to countless cures and discoveries. He now travels the world promoting perfect health the natural way.

According to Dr. Ingram, “We’ve discovered remedies that can reverse the Lyme’s Disease Syndrome and give hope to the suffering masses of chronic Lyme cases. It’s been confirmed by John Hopkins University that these natural oils work.”

These oils are a part of his company known as North American Health and Spice, a company in the United States that offers his wild grown and harvested oregano oil from the Mediterranean region.

Cohen mentioned how Dr. Ingram cured himself of Lyme Disease with oregano oil and that, as a physician, it gives his lectures validity and comes from a medical point of view.

Dr. Ingram said people can expect to “learn how it’s been confirmed by John Hopkins University that oil of oregano can dissolve a germ, the infection connection of other diseases such as your chronic fatigue, your fibromyalgia, your emphysema and COPD, which I’ve discovered are infections. Irritable bowel, leaky gut, your Chrohn’s Disease, psoriasis…they all have an infection connection.”

Dr. Ingram stated some of these diseases can be helped to some degree by wild oil of oregano, but he’ll also talk about other natural remedies and the benefits of a few hemp extracts for things like anxiety and epilepsy. He will speak about “which herb for which condition.”

Dr. Ingram’s latest book is “The Infection Connection: Fight Back With Natural Cures.” Everything Natural will have some preliminary copies for sale though the book is not available until Jan. 1.

“People need to feel they’ve got a bit of hope with the natural remedies … that even if they feel their condition is fruitless, they should investigate this even if they’re skeptical. People should just check it out because, perhaps, in God’s wild natural you can find your cure,” said Dr. Ingram.

Everything Natural is located at 426 S. State St. and all are welcome; however, space is limited. Cohen encouraged anyone interested in attending to call the store to be put on the registration list at 570-586-9684.

In addition to the lecture, the store will be open until 5 p.m. so customers can peruse the items Dr. Ingram will discuss in his lecture.
