TUNKHANNOCK — Jeff Mitchell will return to the Dietrich Theater on Saturday, Feb. 8 at 11 a.m for his free presentation on Hiking Through the Natural Beauty of Pennsylvania.
In this presentation. Mitchell will showcase Pennsylvania’s beautiful parks and natural areas, including hiking trails and water-ways, with a focus on locations in northeastern PA. During this presentation, audience members will explore hidden waterfalls, expansive vistas and isolated wild areas. All hikers and/or lovers of the beauty of the land that surrounds us are invited. If you are an actual hiker or a virtual hiker, this presentation is perfect for you.
Mitchell has been visually inspiring audiences at the Dietrich Theater with photos taken on his hikes for close to 12 years. He also has hiking columns in the Wyoming County Press Examiner and is the author of several books, including “Hiking the Endless Mountains,” “Backpacking Pennsylvania” and “Paddling Pennsylvania.” His books will be available for sale at the presentation for all those who are interested in picking up a copy. All book sale proceeds will benefit the Dietrich Theater.
