Both Abington Heights swim teams won their first two meets by large margins.
The Abington Heights boys defeated Dunmore, 126-18, and Scranton, 135-42.
The Abington Heights girls defeated Dunmore, 112-55, and Scranton, 133-26.
In both cases, the strong starts set up an important early-season meet against Scranton Prep Jan. 4. Abington Heights and Scranton Prep are each part of a three-way tie first place at 2-0 in both Lackawanna League boys swimming and Lackawanna League girls swimming.
