Gower
Scott Gower has returned to high school sports as the new athletic director at Abington Heights, replacing Enrico Mastroianni, who resigned during the summer break to take a similar position at Penn State University Scranton.
Gower served as Scranton Prep athletic director for more than 12 years, ending in January 2022, when he moved on to become director of athletics at Keystone College for nearly two years.
More recently, Gower had been working as a sales professional at BSN Sports, which supplies athletic apparel to teams, including local high schools.
During his time at Scranton Prep, Gower was also active with the Lackawanna Interscholastic Athletic Association, serving as an officer of multiple Lackawanna League sports.
