Abington Heights places third, Lackawanna Trail sixth at Wyalusing Duals

Abington Heights placed third with a 4-1 record while Lackawanna Trail went 2-3 to finish sixth at the Gary Woodruff Memorial Duals Dec. 9 at Wyalusing High School.

During Abington Heights’ 61-15 win over Waverly (NY), Ty Wilmot (120 lbs.) 1:18, Scott Jacoby (152) :26, Sam Northup (160) :14, and Christopher Langan (170) 1:02 won by pin; Juan Loboda (132) won by a 16-6 major decision; R.J. Knott (220) won by a 5-0 decision; and Brandon Grogan (106), Keane Kiat (113), Aidan Price (182), Gavin Drake (195) and Cade Kroptavich (285) won by forfeit.

During Abington Heights’ 50-21 loss to Wyalusing, Grogan 1:29, James Brown (145) 1:41, and Price 3:27 won by pin; and Loboda won by a 7-5 decision.

During Abington Heights’ 63-15 win over Blue Ridge, Northup :24 and Kroptavich :45 won by pin; Wilmot won by a 5-2 decision; and Grogan, Kiat, Loboda, Brown (138), Langan, Price, Gavin Drake (195) and Knott won by forfeit.

During Abington Heights’ 60-18 win over Lackawanna Trail, Wilmot (126) 1:34, Brown (138) 3:09, Northup 2:51, Drake :53, Knott 3:31 and Kroptavich 3:46 won by pin; and Grogan, Kiat and Jacoby won by forfeit.

Cullen Ratchford (132) 2:52 and Owen Hivner (182) 1:20 won by pin, and Trent Ashley (145) won by forfeit for Trail.

During Abington Heights’ 48-33 win over Wallenpaupack, Grogan :32, Wilmot 3:30, Loboda 3:01, Brown (138) :39, Langan 2:26, Price :44 and Knott 5:29 won by pin; and Tre Kerrigan (220) won by forfeit.

During Lackawanna Trail’s 72-12 loss to Wyalusing, Ratchford 1:11 and Hivner 1:04 won by pin.

During Lackawanna Trail’s 39-30 win over Blue Ridge, Dalton Klinges (138) won by decision; and Ratchford, Ashley, Colin Mulhern (170), Hivner, DeBree (195) and Bryce VanFleet (220) won by forfeit.

During Lackawanna Trail’s 36-33 win over Waverly (NY), Ratchford 3:46, Cody Moyle (160) :14 and Mulhern :39 won by pin; and Hivner, DeBree and Tynell Bracero (285) won by forfeit.

During Lackawanna Trail’s 45-23 loss to Montrose, Klinges won by pin; Koyotie Vilchock (126) and Hivner each won by a 15-0 technical fall; and VanFleet won by forfeit.
